For the month of December we feature our Meowy Catmas purrformances JUST FOR MEW ORLEANS! Celebrate Catmas with us by watching cats jump through wreaths, roll an ornament, push a sleigh, and performing an array of other seasonal tricks.
There will also be a special appearance by The Rock-Cats (the only cat band in the entire WORLD!) playing seasonal holiday selections such as "A Cat in a Manger," "Catnip Roasting on an Open Fire," and "God Rest Ye Merry Kittens" (songs might not be performed as described).
This two-hour show has very limited tickets so we suggest buying online to get make sure you get your seats. This show sells out! Our Very Important Cat People (VICP seating) get front row seats and they sell out the fastest.

Each VICP ticket receives a Pawbill (think playbill for cats). Additional Pawbills are available for sale at the merch table.

Proceeds always benefit our cause of foster and rescue. Rock Cats Rescue has fostered and found homes for over 266 cats and kittens, some of them being from Mew Orleans!

2021 Amazing Acro-cat Art Auction!
For the past few years, the Amazing Acro-cats have seem some dire times. Our chief human, Samantha, survived cancer. Then, there is the ongoing bus scam that still hasn’t been resolved. Lastly, the pandemic hit and the Acro-cats took a big hit due to not being able to tour. Meow, we have tried to go back out on the road but since the pandemic still lurks in the shadows we have had a difficult time raising the funds we normally do while we tour.
This auction is to offset those losses (and raise awareness) of Rock Cats Rescue and The Amazing Acro-cats Mission. This The Auction starts on midnight on 11/27 and ends on giving Tuesday, 11/30. Organized by Devan The Artist. This year we feature over 20 artists and makers from across the nation, all banding together to help their favorite band: Tuna and the Rock Cats!!!! The Amazing Acro-cats Online Auction!
Rock Cats Rescue Inc is a 501c3 dedicated to saving cats and kittens one click at a time. By show casing their clicker-trained rescued house cats in an engaging 2 hour purrformance, the Amazing Acro-cats educate and entertain audiences of all ages. In addition to touring the nation spreading the joys of cat rescue, the Amazing Acro-cats have been featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and CBS Sunday Morning with Bill Geist.
Due to the pandemic, Covid-19 has put a strain on touring acts: the Amazing Acro-cats have no way to raise funds for Rock Cats Rescue! The Acro-cats (and their human staff) have organized a silent auction to offset their financial hardships while they cannot travel. All of the proceeds from this event will go to cat and kitten rescue.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Live Shows
Can I bring my cat?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our show and rules of most venues, no additional live animals are allowed in the theater area.
Are children allowed?
Yes, the show is all ages! However, we ask guests who are disturbing others or who are unable to remain seated step out into the lobby. Children under the age of 2 years who will sit in the lap of an adult for the entire show do not need a ticket. Children who cannot remain in a lap will need a ticket for their own seat. Due to the length of the show, it may be hard for younger children to attend the entire purrformance. Please be mindful of this when deciding whether or not to bring infants and young children.
How long is the show, and is there an intermission?
Our shows run about an hour and half, not including the Meet & Greet, and there is no intermission. You may come in and out of the theater during the shows, just please ensure the doors close behind you for the safety of our cats!
When is the Meet & Greet?
For those with tickets for/including the Meet & Greet, it occurs immediately AFTER the show. Have your cameras ready, this is the BEST photo opportunity!
What is a Purrbill?
Our Purrbill is like a playbill or program, but for our cats! It is printed in full color with information about the show, the crew, and the true stars, the cats! Very Important Cat People tickets include a Purrbill. Those without VICP tickets or those who want additional Purrbills can purchase them at our merchandise table before or after the show.
When do the doors open?
The lobby opens one hour before the show starts, and seating starts about 30 minutes before. This may vary depending on each venue’s policies.
Is photography allowed?
Absolutely! You may take photos and videos, but please refrain from using a flash during the performance. We love it when our fans tag us on social meowdia! We may ask permission to use your photos and videos in our posts as well, with credit to you of course!
Do you sell souvenirs?
Yes! We sell souven-ears and a variety of other merchandise before and after the show! All merchandise sales help support Rock Cats Rescue, Inc. We accept cash, cards, and tap to pay (Google, Samsung, & Apple Pay).
When will tickets be on sale?
We launch ticket sales as soon as we can. Timing depends on each venue's box office policies as well as the availability of our volunteers to create the seating charts and tickets. Watch our Facebook page and sign up for our Mewsletter to be notified when ticket sales are live. We appreciate your patience!

Each event listing has a link to a ticketing page once seats are available for purrchase. Only purchase tickets through the above listed sites. Do not buy tickets secondhand, we cannot issue refunds if you are scammed buying fake tickets elsewhere.
I don’t conduct money transactions over the internet. How do I buy my tickets?
You can call the ticket seller/merchant listed for each city above to order your tickets over the phone.
I need accessible seating or special accommodations, what do I do?
Most theaters have designated seating for wheelchairs and these are first come first served. We do not hold back accessible seating so if a show is sold out, this means we are also out of accessible seating options. Please contact us for other accommodations you may need.
*We do NOT have flashing lights; anyone with a sensitivity should be able to safely enjoy our shows!
I don’t have my ticket with me to show at the door. Is that ok?
Yes, we accept tickets shown on a mobile device, or you can bring your photo ID with you so we can find your name on the ticket list and make sure you are you!
I am going to be 10 minutes late. Can I still get into the show?
Yes, we will hold your seats up until 10 minutes after the show starts. After that time, your seats may be released to people waiting for seats in purrson, or to volunteers. Please try to arrive early as the lobby opens an hour before the show starts.
Something came up and I couldn’t make it to the show. Can I have a refund?
Unless a show is canceled or we change the event date, all ticket sales are final.
Tickets were still available but the sales ended, how can I get in?
If you did not buy tickets before we closed ticket sales, and it does not state we are sold out, remaining tickets will be available in person at the Litter Box Office when it opens one hour before show time. Please note there is an additional $5 fee per ticket when purchased at the door and only cash and credit payments can be accepted.
The show I wanted to attend is sold out, do you have any tickets held back?
We do not hold back any tickets, once a show is sold out we do not have any more seats to offer. You are welcome to come in person and wait to see if we have tickets at the door if people do not show up; seating is at least 10-15 minutes into the show and we cannot guarantee any seats will be together, or available, with this option. Please note there is an additional $5 fee per ticket when purchased at the door.
How do I volunteer at a show?
We will post volunteer sign ups on the Facebook event page as well as our website once available. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Volunteers aged 16 & 17 can volunteer WITH a parent or guardian for the duration of the volunteer time. No younger children are allowed in during volunteer times, no exceptions. When will you come to my city?
All tour dates once booked are listed here on our website. We do have some cities we return to yearly which we have a strong audience base including New Orleans, Orlando, Austin, Houston, Chicago, Fort Worth, and San Antonio. We go to Denver every other year.
How can I get you to come to my city?
Our travel distance is limited by our tour bus's ability to make the trek. We have also run into barriers when booking venues who either don't allow animals, who are already booked years in advance, or who don't realize how popular we are. If you want us to come to your city, we need venues of at least 200-seat capacity, 2-4 days availability (plus load in and load out), a good turnout/population, and we prefer graduated/riser seating. Please let us know if a venue near you meets these requirements!
How do I book the Acro-Cats for a private event?
We do NOT book private events. If you have seen the show, you know we are a big production with tons of props. We spend about 4-5 hours setting up the stage and another 4-5 hours putting everything back on the bus. Doing one private show is just not possible.
